It takes place in the year 731, and it is the last year of high school. All of the students have received their powers during the first two years of high school, but their training is only half-completed. Now the students must use their powers to fulfill their destiny and fulfill their dreams. During the year, all of the students must participate in one-on-one battles and training sessions with their classmates. If any student fails to perform adequately in these battles and training sessions, he/she could find himself/herself being expelled from the psionic school. If they fail, they are sent into exile.
About This Game:
This role-playing game was created by the authors, Shiro Yamada and Chiharu Tsuburaya, as an example of the types of fantasy stories and adventures that can be created in this genre. The game’s storyline involves a high school that has just begun to accept students with psionic powers. This school is situated in the ruins of an old castle that once stood upon a small island in the middle of a lake. It is a school where the students are trained in the use of their powers, as well as in the art of combat. Some of the students are more powerful than others and these students are known as the “Big Three,” the headmaster is trying to select three students who will represent his school.
In the game, each student has different abilities and powers that they learn through different classes and battles. Some are more powerful than others, and this is one of the things that makes the game interesting. A student who has been in exile may have a limited ability, but you can help him/her to change that by giving him/her new powers and items. When the year ends, all of the students’ skills are measured to see which of the students are the best. It is determined by the best grades they have earned, how many enemies they have defeated, how many friends they have made, and how many times they have completed quests. Then, the students can earn one of the four ranks. A student who gets a rank becomes an elder. Each rank grants a student special powers, special weapons, and special attributes. It also changes his/her appearance and wardrobe. The students have to keep fighting in battles until they earn the next rank. The four ranks are a novice, apprentice, journeyman, and master. As a result of this ranking, a student can gain some powerful weapons and equipment. The ranking also gives a student access to special quests. These quests can be used to help you get some useful items.
When an ant reaches the master rank, he/she gets access to some really powerful equipment. This equipment is really helpful and can help a student to complete the quests. The master rank is a rare one. Only one out of every twenty students will be a master. To be a master, a student needs to complete a series of quests that is called a “special quest”. Each special quest has a specific goal that needs to be completed. If a student does not complete the quest, he/she cannot get access to the equipment that is associated with it.
